About testingforcovid

Our Committment

COVID-19 testing sites are constantly popping up, and it’s frustratingly hard to figure out where you can go. Accurate information about testing sites should be accessible for everyone during this pandemic.

That’s why we built a free system to make it easy for you to find up-to-date resources on where you can get tested. Our grassroots volunteer team is unifying patchwork information on nationwide COVID testing sites through hometown hero efforts. We are making critically needed information available to millions of people who need it through human centered design and data you can rely on.

Our trusted process

Identify hotspots

Assess where we’re needed the most and distribute counties to cover.

Fact finder magic

Our fact finders do their research magic, and upload information about those counties to our database.

Validate, Validate, Validate

County Representatives ensure that the data is accurate by going to the source for real-time information.

Revise & Refresh

Every 2 weeks, our County Reps update the testing sites – so you always have access to timely information.

"As a scientist and software engineer in the SF Bay Area, it felt necessary during this crisis to leverage the enormous resources of silicon valley, forget crazy incentives, and step up to help in whatever way we can. It has been a wonderful journey to see the power of volunteers coming together and making things happen!"
